Who is Jaredith Mize and why should I care?
I am a thirty-something (born in ’84; you do the math) husband (to my beautiful wife, Anne), father (to the funniest kid in the galaxy, Aiden), minister (Pentecostal), writer (more on that later), etc. I am pretty passionate about music and my list of favorite artists/musicians/writers would cover several genres. I love the art of storytelling. I believe the art and craft of storytelling is a core element of what makes us human. I am a student of storytelling in all its forms, from speaking and writing (books, blogs, etc.) to audio/visual storytelling (film, comics, video games, & music).
I am writing a book tentatively titled, “(Un)Common Ground” of which you will see bits and pieces on my main blog. I’m always working on short stories and other projects, so stay tuned for more on that.
I hope to have the opportunity to express my ideas and passions through this blog. I hope that my experiences will inspire you. I also hope you’ll buy my book when it comes out. (Just trying to keep it honest…)
